Dr Saunders is the UKHSA lead for the NIHR HPRU in Blood Borne and Sexually Transmitted Infections. He is a consultant in Genitourinary Medicine working in the Blood Safety, Hepatitis, STI and HIV Division at UKHSA. He is an Honorary Consultant for the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London.
