Supporting Local Authorities (LAs) to establish localised cost-effective interventions to reduce health disparities in the prevention and diagnosis of STIs
LAs are responsible for providing sexual health service (SHS) in their area and should provide a package of services which are tailored towards the needs of their own region. However, currently there are few tools to help LAs decide what services should be included in the package.
This project will increase knowledge of the services and interventions that existing and how they should be best provided; findings will support a larger funding application to update a health economic modelling tool that can be used by LAs to select the most appropriate service package for their local population.
