HPRU Academy

The HPRU Academy supports and funds five full time PhD studentships. The HPRU Academy brings together relevant and specialised education and training conducted by the partner institutions (UCL/LSHTM/UKHSA) to ensure that students benefit from a wide range of experiences and training.

The aim of the HPRU Academy is to develop and strengthen research and public health expertise in STI and BBV by:

• Building on the successful graduate (PhD) and training programmes
• Developing active collaborations with other NIHR HPRUs and their academies
• Establishing seminar programmes and courses for professional development
