Siobhán is a PhD student within the NIHR HPRU in Blood Borne and Sexually Transmitted Infections, supervised by Professor Caroline Sabin. She brings over 15 years of experience in HIV clinical care and research, including as an HIV nurse in both the UK and Zambia, where she supported people living with HIV across clinical and community settings.

She has since held research roles evaluating public health interventions, including opt-out blood-borne virus testing in emergency departments. This combination of clinical practice and public health research has shaped her interests in HIV care, health inequalities, and stigma.

Her PhD examines the frequency and outcomes of engagement and re-engagement in HIV care in the UK.
