Roeann Osman is a PhD student conducting a mixed methods project at the Institute for Global Health, University College London. Her research question is exploring the acceptability and feasibility of using near real-time whole genome sequencing data on Neisseria gonorrhoeae diagnosed in sexual health clinic attendees to guide clinical decision-making and individualised patient interventions for sexually transmitted infections and blood borne viruses based on molecular risk-profiling in addition to standard clinical history. Roeann is a pharmacist by background with additional training in Public Health and Health Economics.
