Lucas is a PhD student whose research is focused on engaging with people at high risk of sexually transmitted infections in public sex environments (PSEs) in rural and coastal parts of the UK. He studied Psychology at the University of Nottingham, graduating with an MSci in 2024. His Masters dissertation focused on sexual risk-taking and substance use among transmasculine people who have sex with men. He is passionate about accessible sexual healthcare and coproduction with people of lived experience.
