Dr Lorraine McDonagh

Dr McDonagh a public health researcher and educator, with a background in social and health psychology. She has expertise in interdisciplinary health service research, patient/public involvement and engagement (PPI), inequities and inequalities. Her main research interests are in equity, inclusion health groups (and marginalised communities and individuals), social influences on health (e.g., prejudice, minority stress, resilience) and access to healthcare. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has extensive research training in review (systematic, realist), quantitative (psychometrics, surveys), and qualitative (interviews, focus groups, co-design) methodologies.
