Erna leads Quality Improvement and Knowledge Mobilisation in UKHSA's Blood Safety, Hepatitis, STI & HIV Division. She helps drive service improvement across sexual health services and supports teams in turning knowledge and evidence into clear and impactful outputs leading to practical action. Erna also works closely with partners across UKHSA, UCL, and commissioners and providers of sexual health services across England. She has more than 12 years' experience within UKHSA and its predecessor organisations, building on a career that spans leadership roles in the NHS and local government.
