A sociologist by training, Emily’s work incorporates both applied and sociological approaches to public health research, using qualitative methodologies to explore the key issues in HIV and emerging infections. She joined the Institute for Global Health at UCL in June 2021 and contributes to a range of studies on HIV, sexual health and pandemic preparedness.
