Siri Jonina Egede



Theme C: Improving the care and management of people with STIs and BBVs

London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine

Siri Jonina Egede is a Research Assistant at The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and is currently based at The Department of Social and Environmental Health Research.


Siri has a MSc in Sociology from The University of Copenhagen and has also taken Public Health courses at Boston University and Sociology of Sexuality courses at The University of Bristol.


In 2013 Siri undertook an internship at LSHTM where she focused on the criminalisation of HIV transmission and how this affects the relationship between HIV patients and service providers. 


Siri currently works on the Pathways Project conducting interviews and liaising with community organisations, under the supervision of Professor Tim Rhodes, and in conjunction with Pippa Grenfell.
