Mr. Seth Francis-Graham is a PhD student with the Health Protection Research Unit: Blood Borne & Sexually Transmitted Infections, based at UCL. Seth is supervised by Prof. William Rosenberg and is conducting research around pathways of care for blood borne viruses within prison. Seth’s current work focuses on understanding how and why opt-out blood borne virus screening, implemented throughout the English and Welsh prison estate in April 2017, is intended to increase case detection. He is using realist methodology in order to guide his research.
