Theme B: Reducing the burden of undiagnosed STIs and BBVs

Prior to joining the unit, Liam completed a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Sheffield with his dissertation focussing on physical activity in people with autism spectrum disorder. Liam also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Leicester, where he was involved in a controlled trial investigating instrumental conditioning behaviours and non-reward learning.

Liam is currently working on quantitative online survey research exploring important factors that influence STI testing behaviour of young people in general practice settings. His research interests range from communicable disease control and prevention to international mental health systems and policy. He is looking to start a PhD in one of his research interests in the near future.
